Vertum Partners is an early phase start-up established by members of a UCLA atmospheric research group and a local business leader to leverage their climate expertise and provide sophisticated business intelligence to the renewable energy community. The firm's software tools, currently in development, integrate climate observations and models with other information streams relevant to renewable energy. They also allow for evaluation of the variability and viability of wind resources at existing and potential electricity generation sites.
