Public Profile

VanDyne SuperTurbo, Inc. specializes in the design, development, and production of a next generation engine efficiency technology known as the SuperTurbocharger. The VanDyne SuperTurbo combines the low-speed performance of a supercharger together with waste heat energy recovery, leading to a signifcant improvement in engine efficiency. The technology is applicable to both diesel and gasoline engines and allows manufacturers to achieve substantially lower emissions by reducing engine size without sacrificing performance. By utilizing both waste exhaust heat and drive train torque to spin the compressor, the VanDyne SuperTurbo is able to increase power throughout the drive cycle while nearly eliminating turbo lag. In addition, it has the ability to transfer the waste exhaust heat that a traditional turbine cannot handle directly to the drive shaft for additional torque. The Company is currently working with leading customers in each of its target markets that include high volume car and truck engine manufacturers, as well as attractive niche markets, like industrial, agricultural, military, and motorsports
