In July 2006 Vector Composites was acquired by DR Technologies, itself an SBIR involved firm. DRT inked a deal with the National Composite Center (NCC) to purchase its spin-off company Vector Composites Inc. Subsequently named V System Composites (VSC), the firm is a composite manufacturing company with aerospace design, fabrication, and testing experience. VSC 's research and technology efforts focus on many aspects of aerospace and industrial composites. The firm specializes in prepreg lamination, RTM and VARTM fabrication, oven or autoclave cure (up to 12 ft diameter by 30 ft long) in the defense and general aviation industries. Capabilities include design/analysis, hardware integration and assembly.
