Formerly dba TacSense, LLC, TacSense, Inc - spun out of University of California Davis - has developed sensitive and flexible human sensing interfaces, known as the Flexible Iontronic Sensing (FITS) technology. With only a very limited SBIR involvement - the firm has raised a fair amount of capital and is addressing demands in various markets such as medical, consumer, robotic and automobile for high-precision and ultra-flexible mechanical sensing modalities, TacSense is attempting ti fill that gap by providing ultrasensitive tactile sensors, flexible human-sensing interfaces, and wearable health monitors.
