Business Identifier: automated translation solutions
Public Profile:
A spin-off from Carnegie Mellon, Safaba helps Language Service Providers (LSPs) and their clients increase their degree of translation automation by leveraging Machine Translation (MT) technology and their existing resources. Safaba is a translation solutions provider, not a developer of core Machine Translation engines. We contract with multiple commercial MT providers to provide the MT solution that best fits the client’s needs. Safaba integrates MT with available translation resources in order to produce high-quality automated translations, fully integrated into existing translation workflow processes. By partnering with Safaba, LSPs can offer their clients new types of translation services, allowing LSPs to better address their clients’ various translation needs. Safaba is a spinoff company from Carnegie Mellon University's Language Technologies Institute—a world leader in Machine Translation and human language technology research
