In October 2002 Radiant Photonics Inc was forced to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. Previously called Radiant Research Laboratories, Radiant Photonics Inc was a startup within the University of Texas, Austin Technology Incubator. The firm works in applied research of holographic components for opto-electronic switches, designing and building electro-optic switches and modulators, optical interconnect devices, and WDM modules for commercial application generally in collaboration with others. A recent substantial equity investment will continue to support and evolving product line of innovative glass/polymer lightwave components for the optical network.
