In 2002, Radian Inc was acquired by St. Louis-based Engineered Support Systems (NASDAQ: EASI) a firm structured around design, manufacture, and supplying integrated military electronics. When operational, Radian had had several (12) locations throughout the US and had provided engineering and technical support services to the US Army Belvoir Research, Development, and Engineering Center (BRDEC) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. In 2005, Engineered Support Systems Inc. was acquired by DRS Technologies Inc. of Parsippany, N.J.for a reported $2 billion.
