Quadrax Corporation is a manufacturer and distributor of electric power cordsets and interconnect cables primarily for original equipment manufacturers of small appliances. The Company produces a wide variety of power supply cords (cordsets), insulated wire (bulk wire) and molded cable assemblies. The Company's products are produced only after customer orders are received and then custom manufactured to the customer's specifications. On February 27, 1998, Quadrax filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Rhode Island. Pursuant to the filing of the voluntary petition, the Company filed a petition for financial reorganization in December 1998.
