Public Profile

PageFlip is focused to development manufacture, and commercializeation of a superior automatic page turning technology for the benefit of people with disabilities, musicians, and avid readers. Unlike other products on the market, PageFlip Lite page turner and PageFlip Cicada Bluetooth pedal are designed to offer a bidirectional hands-free solution that is reliable, portable, silent, and low-cost. PageFlip founders came from disparate backgrounds: occupational therapy, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Brought together by their shared frustration with what they found in the market. - existing page turning technology performed poorly and was prohibitively expensive. Focused effort on various mechanical page turner prototypes. First product prototype was introduced at the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) trade show in Anaheim, California, in January 2008. The show, attended by over 85,000 people in the music retail industry, was a great source of valuable feedback and positive comments for product. The chief remarks dealt with cost, reliability, size, and noise. The result of subsequent work was demonstrated at NAMM in January 2010. There, the new PageFlip Lite automatic page turner amazed people with its simplicity and robustness. To address the explosive growth in eBooks and electronic documents, firm introduced the PageFlip Cicada Bluetooth pedal at NAMM in January 2011 - an ideal solution for consumers of digital content who want to enjoy the benefits of hands-free reading. It is a long road between research, design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and sales. Yet it is precisely this course that brings out the refinements necessary to surpass competing products in quality and cost. We are sure that you will be amazed by the new opportunities in hands-free reading that our products make available. Be prepared to discover the benefits of automatic page turning with the introduction of the PageFlip Lite page turner and the PageFlip Cicada Bluetooth pedal.
