Previously called West River Aerial, OctaAqua Flex Environmental Systems addresses development of products for clean-up of aircraft and other transportation vehicles. Three wash-stations were used in Ground Zero after the September 11 attacks. The systems decontaminated trucks of asbetos. The firms products are also used to wash Army vehicles for anti-corrosion . OctaFlex is an environmental containment firm that began with research and development projects conducted for the USDA and the United States Department of Defense. OctaFlex is focused to development of environmental wash down and containment support equipment to help business entities meet compliance of government regulatory requirements of the Clean Water Act. The company goal has been to develop a containment collection system that in itself does not become a hazardous waste, causing high removal and disposal costs; that it be of high quality material impervious to toxic elements while providing years of protection; and be created in such a manner that is totally user friendly.
