NanoConversion Technologies Inc has developed an efficient, low-cost device to convert heat to electricity. The firm offers C-TEC, a concentration-mode thermoelectric converter for remote and portable power applications using propane, diesel fuel, natural gas, waste heat, and concentrated solar power. The C-TEC has no moving parts, operate silently with no maintenance and can use any source of heat to deliver efficient, electrical power with lower emissions than internal combustion engines.
