FarCo Technologies Inc provides services in electromechanical system design and autopilots for various unmanned vehicles, robotic and biomimetic systems, auto-pilots and control systems, obstacle avoidance technologies for autonomous vehicles, aerospace applications and control system design and implementation. Some of the products being developed by FarCo Technologies include: Maritime Seaway Navigation System (MSNS), an autopilot for boats in autonomous operations. The system comes with a ground station for unmanned sea surface vehicles. The MSNS includes high-performance tracking and stabilization components and an optional Radar-guided obstacle avoidance module; GODZILA, an obstacle avoidance and path planning system for unmanned vehicles. This module may be utilized with MSNS and other autopilots for path generation and obstacle avoidance; Embedded microcontroller board (or auto-pilot), a hardware solution for small foot-print, low power embedded microcontroller for signal processing and controls applications. Several sensors may be easily installed into this board to have a complete open architecture autopilot for various unmanned vehicles. The sensors are: GPS, IMU, magnetometer, pressure sensors, etc. The board also has a plugin socket for MaxStream wireless modem.
