These projects include: the San Francisco Airport International Terminal, the largest new building in the world constructed using seismic isolation; U.S. Court of Appeals, a project awarded the federal government’s 1994 GSA Design Award for Engineering, Technology, and Innovation; and the Benicia-Martinez Bridge, one of the largest bridges to be retrofitted with seismic isolation and requiring the largest seismic isolation bearings ever manufactured.
