A "spin off" from the Timex Corporation, E-Lite Technologies Inc. acquired the technology and assets from Timex by which to make Electroluminescent lamps as a full continuous process. This process generates rolls of lamp of up to 1200â long that can be cut according to usersâ desired shape, size or specific length. The newly founded company dedicated itself to further enhancement of the existing process resulting in additional significant patents.
