In February 1992, Dynamic Digital Display (DDI)) - a Medical Device company working in the diagnostic imaging and software development space - was acquired by the diagnostic imaging technology company Picker International for an undisclosed amount. Viewed as a valuable and potentially important acquisition by those in the industry, it was indicated at the time that DDI would be integrated into Picker's computed tomography division and that much of the senior management would remain with the acquired firm as Picker personnel.
