Adaptive Sensory Technology LLC (AST) spun out of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and the Ohio State University (OSU), is developing a new platform to assess everyday functional vision, testing different aspects of visual performance (acuity and contrast sensitivity) to detect the signals of visual change and treatment response. The platform will enable precision assessments of vision on medical and mobile devices, will improve clinical evaluation of eye disease and enable smaller and shorter clinical trials.
