Founded by an experienced and familiar management team, ACP Semiconductor is working on produceing network connected, smart energy, power management products that enable power savings in LED Street Lighting. ACP's products (ACPLuxâ¢) for LED lighting enable municipalities to drastically reduce power consumption while supporting smart city initiatives through the Internet of Things (IoT). Located in the Silicon Catalyst - an incubator for semiconductor startups - ACP Semiconductor is the first of three such firms to locate there. With a team made up of players with extensive related experience out of National SemiConductor and Micrel, ACP is Iinitially focused around two product key product areas: Smart Lighting - Intelligent Controlled LED drivers and Integrated Communications - and Smart Metering - Integrated Power Management
