Public Profile

Accumetrics offers tools to obtain sensor data from rotating components, providing high accuracy/high integrity/ high speed digital telemetry solutions ranging from the measurement of individual signal inputs to more than 600 sensor input applications. We work closely with customers to provide telemetry solutions for rotating equipment, improving their ability to accurately retrieve and reproduce torque, temperature, vibration, voltage, current, and many other measurement parameters. Accumetrics products are used to retrieve data from race cars, steam turbines, windmills, motors, pumps, engine dynamometers, generators, aircraft, process industries, and more. Any time sensors are placed on rotating components, a challenge emerges: how to get signals off the rotor in a reliably and accurately without interfering with the operation of the equipment. Accumetrics systems meet the challenge by mounting miniature robust transmitter modules on rotors. There analog signals are filtered, amplified, digitized and transmitted - error-free - to a nearby stationary antenna. The received signal is then demodulated back to a useful signal for analysis or monitoring. Throughout its history, Accumetrics has:# Redefined data integrity in rotor telemetry -- with digital systems that are unsurpassed in accuracy compared to conventional technology. # Built the world's largest rotor telemetry systems -- with more than 600 channels, to help a major manufacturer take gas turbine technology into the 21st century. # Engineered compact, high-durability rotor telemetry systems -- tough enough to operate on automotive drive shafts and half shafts for long-term, on-road testing. # Created rotor telemetry systems for large motors and generators -- capable of monitoring rotor parameters for the life of the machine and designed to report faults before they become catastrophic. # Pioneered miniature digital systems that are incredibly fast and easy to apply. # Made wireless torque transducers a reality by supplying major US torque transducer manufacturers with high performance telemetry component kits.
