Technest changed its name to AccelPath, re-incorporated in Delaware and began to trade under the sysmbol ACLP (OTCBB:ALCP) .. With what is now an entirely differentbsuienss focus, through its subsidiaries, Accel Brands, Inc., tdevelops and provides pathology diagnostics solutions. It operates through two segments, Medical Diagnostics and Government Contracting. The company is also involved in the design, research and development, integration, sale, and support of three-dimensional (3D) imaging devices and systems primarily in the healthcare industries, as well as intelligent surveillance devices and systems, and 3D facial recognition in the security industries. It offers technology solutions that deliver information for diagnosis of diseases and other pathologic conditions, as well as for the anatomic pathology market. The company?s primary products for defense and security include 3D SketchArtist, a 3D composite sketch tool to transform ordinary sketches; 3D FaceCam, which is used to create 3D face images at light speed; Portable MVR, a video recording device for use in outdoor environments; and OmniEye Wellcam, an ultra-light camera for use in detection of underground weapon caches, and search and rescue beneath building rubble field applications, as well as small tactical ubiquitous detection systems, which are motion-tracking, positioning, and imaging unattended ground sensors that permit long-range surveillance. In addition, it offers 3D digitizer systems, a medical device to provide 3D imaging solutions.
