The proposed effort seeks to determine the feasibility of a control system that autonomously integrates chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) detectors to automatically align and operate the ship's collective protection system. The envisioned system will reduce the time to respond to a CBR threat.

Benefit:
The technology developed by this project will be primarily commercialized within the Department of Defense (DoD). However, there is potential for commercializing the technology in other Federal Agencies or with commercial entities that operate manned critical infrastructure or facilities that must continue to operate under chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear attack.
