ICA TriNova, LLC has developed controlled release chlorine dioxde technology. This technology platform was successfully used to make light-weight, simple, and affordable field ready products for delivering chlorine gas to decontaminate soldier gear and equipment from biothreats. ICA believes these products are adaptable for medical device sterilization; chlorine dioxide gas has known benefits as a sterilant gas. ICA proposes to demonstrate this product design coupled with simple, portable medical containers for field sterilzation in austere environments.

Benefits:
Cold sterilization/disinfection/sanitation techniques are in constant demand in the medical community. Every day we read about new threats from resistant staff to bird flu. Chlorine dioxide gas has long been considered a suitable replacement for widely used ethylene oxide; a known carcinogene. The barrier to acceptance has long been easy to use, reproducible delivery systems for chlorine dioxide. ICA products overcome these problems and coupling these products with novel treatment systems will greatly extend the benefits of chlorine dioxide. ICA believes the simplicity and affordablity of this novel system brings new levels of versatility to military units in that
