This project team developed a prototype of the Presence Telecare intervention, a suite of tools intended to facilitate "remote telepractice" of speech language services that the company provides. The final suite will include video conferencing technology integrated with therapy and management tools. This suite is intended to provide the provider with an efficient mechanism for collecting data and communicating with a child's parents. During Phase I, the team successfully developed and demonstrated the technological feasibility of the prototype, and showed that service providers were receptive to using the prototype as a tool to support practice.
