Phase II year
2021 (last award dollars: 2021)
Parts Life, Inc. has utilized its success in the existing SBIR program and its proven SAR process to replicate Tool Set, Dome Nut, NSN 4920-01-284-0198. Using the companys unique and revolutionary R.O.P.E. (Rapid Obsolescence Planning and Execution) process to create an entire technical drawing package and manufacturing drawing package, Parts Life has produced a solution to the problem that has become increasingly more critical for the availability of this NSN kit. All of the drawings, specifications, sources, and all inspection data have been completed in their entirety, and submitted for final review and approval. The DLA will have a competitive approved source for procurement of the Tool Kit by utilizing PLI's method of manufacturing. The Materials, Equipment, Management, Measurements, Environment / Testing, and Manpower are focused on meeting and exceeding the expectations of the DoD's engineering community. For this Phase II, Parts Life, Inc. is proposing to improve product availability and increase competition through the development of a Source Approval Requests (SAR) for NSN 5306-01-571-8439 Bolt, Eye, NSN 4030-01-571-7744 Shackle, NSN 5330-00-467-9056 Sealing Ring, NSN 5330-00-891-4700 Seal Non-Metallic ST, NSN 5330-00-949-1491 Seal Ring Metal, NSN 6230-01-476-7828 Flood Light, NSN 2815-01-424-0313 Floodlight Gen Set, NSN 4730-00-004-0737 (-2) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-00-484-0584 (-3) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-00-449-0657 (-4) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-00-762-2120 (-6) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-00-092-3798 (-6) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-01-645-4447 (-10) Elbow Tube to Boss, NSN 4730-01-642-3558 (-10) Elbow Tube to Boss, and NSN 1420-01-125-1475 Engine Inlet Seal with government provided technical data through our Reverse Engineering (RE), and SAR Process. Upon contract award, Parts Life, Inc. will utilize our produced technical data for development of the SAR packages. The intent is that upon SAR approval by an ESA, Parts Life, Inc. will be responsive to future solicitations as well as participate in the development of additional SARs for technically related NSNs.
