The USSF is at a critical juncture, needing advanced real-time detection and tracking technologies for hypersonic glide vehicles to counter the escalating threats from nations like China and Russia. The limitations of current technologies, due to their heavy data requirements, hinder timely threat detection and response. This initiative aims to utilize MyRadar's patented intellectual property to fast-track the creation of specialized AI algorithms. These advancements will improve the efficiency of hyperspectral sensors on low-SWaP SmallSats, directly addressing the gap in real-time hypersonic threat tracking. This effort aligns with the USSF’s strategic direction for enhancing Science and Technology processes in space, underpinning the broader goal of ensuring space domain security in the face of Great Power Competition.
