SmartSpace AI provides the means for the USAF to provide facilities and services to Airmen and their families more effectively. More effectively means spending the same or perhaps even less money to operate, for example, the base bowling alley in a manner that serves more patrons and delivers a delightful and memorable experience. Other examples include the theater, base gym, or even the PX. We’ve seen cost savings with our current customers of up to 12% and increased equipment uptime and availability by up to 20%. SmartSpace AI uses existing security cameras to detect people and events that allow us to do three things: Perform a precise headcount of personnel using a facility Determine when maintenance or janitorial services are required based upon actual use Detect people in or near a facility or parking lot after hours and provide an alert to security personnel All the above can equate to significant cost savings and return on investment (ROI). Here is how that happens. Increased Efficiency: SmartSpace AI accurately counts the number of people entering and leaving an area, where they go, time and date with our patent-pending technology. What we monitor depends, of course, upon the location of existing security cameras, which are usually placed at points of ingress and egress, or areas that need to be surveilled. SmartSpace AI makes it easy to generate usage statistics and use patterns. Thus, if there are repeating patterns of only a few patrons using the bowling alley during weekday afternoons, then there is an opportunity to reduce staff, and perhaps have them making up the hours on Friday and Saturday nights when SmartSpace AI identifies really high customer volume. It may show that there are times where the facility does not even need to be open. Predictive/Proactive Maintenance: So, when does a specific piece of gym equipment need to be serviced, or the restroom maintained? Or perhaps preventive maintenance performed on a door or gate? We can set up SmartSpace AI to keep track of the people traffic for these and many more items. This saves money in two ways; first, it is not necessary to check the restroom or do maintenance on a machine if it has had little use. Thus, it’s not necessary to pay someone to check and see if action is needed. Second, if no one is paying attention to how much a gate or machine has been used and it breaks due to not receiving preventive maintenance, that is costly. SmartSpace AI can alert when a machine needs maintenance and provides utilizatoin data to obtain a larger budget during annual planning. Security Monitoring: It’s expensive to guard every location after hours. It’s what security systems are for, right? SmartSpace AI reliably detects people in an area. When we do, an alarm can be generated to dispatch security personnel. SmartSpace AI takes away the need to have someone sitting and watching a security monitor, or to make regular patrols. This can result in significant cost s
