Today we face a challenge that has never been more prominent in U.S. history. Technology is developing at a rate of speed which outpaces the ability to train capable technical talent. The lack of suitable training infrastructure has resulted in a ââ¬ËSupply and Demandââ¬â¢ gap in the key trained individuals needed. This further results in a direct impediment to not only the functionality of high demand organizations such as the USAF, but to all ancillary organizations that support the war machine, from Manufacturing and Engineering fields to Cyber Security/Information Technology (IT). This creates unprecedented challenges downstream for Service Members transitioning into the civilian populace, where they often struggle to prepare and adapt to the latest market skills.
