Public Profile

Founded originally as a technology development company with the goal of commercializing technologies into products for a wide range of markets, Aspen Systems has launched and spun off several firms which, organized around particular fields of specialty, have gone on to important impact in their own right. Aspen Systems, Inc. (ASI) - as parent company - specializes in creation of thermal management solutions to be used in extreme environments and unique applications. ASI has developed a variety of standard and custom systems that utilize the firm’s miniature compressor technologies and serve a wide range of applications. The firm specializes in air conditioning, chilled liquid and direct evaporation refrigeration systems and advanced compressor and system components. The firm's refrigeration systems provides high efficiency cooling with minimal power usage for demanding challenges and needs, whether it is a ruggedized system for extreme industrial or military use or an application for optimal performance in the smallest possible package. The firm also offers a line of Environmental Control Units (ECU-Chill) for use in enclosures and transit cases, a liquid cooling system and customized electronic cooling systems to maximize performance and increase both reliability and durability in harsh environments. The firm's ruggedized vapor compression environmental control system brings the environment of a server room typical of an office building into mobile electronics enclosures, keeping systems running below ambient and free of dust and contaminants.
