Quaterra has invented and developed a number of products for the deaf. We created TTY-Vision, a device that connects to the telephone line and your television set. Rather than just having the tiny 20 character display on the TTY/TDD device, TTY-Vision displays the TTY conversation on the television set. It displays 24 characters across and 10 lines deep. It scrolls up just like a computer display and the two sides of the conversation are displayed in different colors. Quaterra has also invented the TTY Universal Voice Mail system, a low cost add-on that allows full TTY access to any voice mail system, plus many advanced features.
