With both parties being SBIR involved, in 1997 Visidyne gained extensive laser remote sensing through a merger with PhotoMetrics, Inc that had been a very early SBIR involved firm. Still SBIR involved until the recent past, today Visidyneâs focus is on Electro-optics and Atmospheric Measurements and Modeling but it retains its involvement in the nuclear weapons effects modeling for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
