Optron Systems, Inc. (OSI) is engaged in the development and production of high-performance light modulation devices and systems for application in both commercial and government markets. Working in the field of optical signal processing, OSI wishes to establish and maintain preeminence in the manufacture of high-performance displays and electronic imaging and optical signal processing systems. currently offer a number of products for optical switching, infrared imaging and the manufacture of liquid crystal displays (LCDs). Optron's membrane mirror light shutters provide up to 1 MHz operation and can tolerate more than 500 W/cm2 of near-infrared laser power. They are polarization independent and will modulate either monochromatic or broadband light with wavelengths ranging from 250 nm to 12 mm. Our shutters have been incorporated into LIDAR/LADAR systems, and optical communication systems.
