In early 2003. Abacus Controls was acquired by Myers Power Products headquaretred in Corona CA. Abacus Controls has been in the business of design and manufacture of digitally controlled AC power equipment used in a range of applications in aerospace, military, railroad, telecommunications and alternative energy industries. Shortly after the Abacus acquisition a new brand was created - Myers/Abacus - and relocated to Bethlehem, PA Moving to the Myers Power Products, Inc. eastern facility, Myers/Abacus joined the Myers Power Products (formerly Myers/CPI) and Best-Lites brands in designing and manufacturing a broad range of power inverter, emergency lighting inverters, and advanced power and UPS systems.
