Microflip Inc specialized in adaptive software and hardware for persons with hearing loss. A major breakthrough achieved by Microflip in telecommunications for the deaf was the design and development of the first internal modem - the MIC 3001 bundled with FullTalk software. By the mid-nineties, over 3000 of these modems and software had been installed in federal and state government offices as well as large corporations. The MIC 3001 had also been used in several integrators to provide 911 emergency services for the deaf. The firm appears no longer to be inbusiness.
