A long time established firm having been SBIR involved on only a limited basis and that many years ago, in June 2019 it was announced that Capintec had been acquired by Mirion Technologies - a mid-szied corporation working in the spaceof radiation detection, and monitoring solutions for the nuclear power, military, medical, specialized markets. Terms were not disclosed. Capintec is in the development, manufacturing and marketing of state-of-the-art radiation measuring and monitoring instrumentation.
