Innovative Energy Solution provides customers with simple yet cost-effective reformers for hydrogen sulfide, residual fuel, waste lube oil and normal clean hydrocarbons such as methane and propane. Deteriorating qualities of oils and gases is forcing the petroleum sector to incur very high cost for energy and waste disposal. IES has developed two unique and proprietary technologies: Super ATR (Super Adiabatic Autothermal Reforming) is a platform used to extract hydrogen from toxic waste in any oil, gas or liquid processing sources. The technology, primarily oriented toward oil refineries, has been proven to develop hydrogen at prices much lower than steam reformers (the industry standard) using refinery off-gases as the feedstock. The SuperATR is being adopted at the moment to extract hydrogen from residual fuel with the possibility of carbon capture; CIG (Charge Induced Gasification) is a plasma-based gasification platform to extract energy from biomass, municipal solid waste, and hard coals. The CIG is a cross breed between plasma and normal gasification, building a gasification process that can ultimately reduce capital and operating cost of coal gasifiers by more than half. IES is adding energy development projects to its portfolio to include: co-generation (Co-Gen) of electricity and heat that guarantee savings; and electricity generation from renewables including municipal solid wastes, biomass and landfill.
