Public Profile

EnSolve Biosystems, Inc. is a biotechnology company developing and manufacturing solutions for filtering and cleaning maritime and industrial waste. The firm provides packaged bio-treatment systems for maritime and land-based industries that offer customers both economic and environmental benefits. EnSolve and its clients have a commitment to environmental stewardship of our planet's oceans and water systems. The company’s products include PetroLiminator, an oily water separator (OWS) pollution-prevention solution for bilge water that easily handles phase-separated oil, emulsified oil and other contaminants. Unlike conventional oil water separators, the PetroLiminator actually destroys oil and grease using naturally occurring bacteria. The PetroLiminator is a automated bio-mechanical system that requires low maintenance and has been employed on a variety of ship platforms, including ferries, ore carriers, tankers, oil exploration vessels and military vessels. Compelling reasons that more and more ship owners are switching to this technology include: low operating costs, ease of use, green technology, little or no HAZMAT, industry validation and excellent reliability. The system is designed to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but can accommodate other schedules or instances as needed. The PL630M system is approved to process 3.8 gallons per minute for example, and can easily process up to 20 cubic meters (5,400 gallons) per day.
