Organized around tackling climate change reversal through the development and deployment of advanced technology and achored in work undertaken at MIT, Verdox, Inc. has developed a proprietary electro-swing process that enables carbon dioxide and other acid gases to be captured with up to 80% less energy and 70% less cost than conventional approaches: an all-electric carbon removal technology applicable both for capturing emissions from aluminium production and directly from air. With FIVE aluminium plants in Norway, the firm Hydro is already investing $29M (US) in Verdox'a carbon capture effort to eliminate emissions from aluminium production
