Areas of strength for the company include: coal combustion fly ash processing, development of novel materials from fly ash including advanced pozzolans and mineral fillers for polymers and metal matrix materials. The firm develops recycled ash derived ceramics materials for customers to produce improved and lightweight metal matrix and polymer composites that, in turn, enhance the performance of their customers’ products in the field. As an added benefit, the firms products are recycled directly from an energy byproduct making them environmentally friendly, sustainable, and inexpensive. NuForm Materials LLC offers environmental restoration services for utilities producing energy by-products. The addition of ReNu Ceramics is able to provide cost and weight savings, all the while improving hardness, strength, and wear properties.
