Still within the 500 person SBIR upper limit, it is not clear if Chespeake will remain SBIR eligible. Headquartered in Maryland - but having facilities in various states - Chesapeake Technology International Corporation (CTI)is a software and systems development company dedicated to providing advanced, user-focused technologies for military and security applications. With the founding team including several US military veterans and skilled and experienced software developers, CTI provided high-end software and systems development products for the Defense and Intelligence communities specializing in developing software solutions enabling the war-fighter's access to collection, aggregation, transport, and visualization of highly complex data sets in a meaningful context. AN area of major concentration is also operational-support providing engineering, system development, and support for military systems including electronic warfare platforms, sensor integration intelligence collection platforms, C4ISR capabilities, and information operations clients. CTI's business areas can be generally grouped into four categories: electronic warfare (EW); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR); Tactical/Unmanned Systems; and Training and Simulation.
