OmniVis LLC develops rapid and sensitive methods to quickly detect infectious diseases. The firm was founded based on the PIs PhD research on the detection and prevention of cholera. OmniVis technology uses a revolutionary sensing technique to quantify and analyze biomolecular solutions directly at the source. Our easy to use hardware device and consumable test kit attaches to a smartphone and reduces the detection process to 30 minutes, accurately and affordably. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm is designing 3D printed masks that are compatible to various shaped/sized faces to protect front line health workers from COVID-19. The prototype uses easily accessible materials, and the design is meant to be open source for facilities with 3D printers, as well as manufacture devices to donate to the community.
