AntiRadical Therapeutics LLC (ART) is dedicated to the development of a superoxide dismutase mimetic as an anti-metastasis drug to reduce mortarlity and to improve quality of life of cancer patients. ART has demonstarted the preclinical efficacy of VACNO [(vascular albumin with caged nitric oxide aka PNA (polynitroxylated albumin)] in multiple cancer models, including triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) and brain cancer. The work on TNBC was recently published. VACNO is a macromolecular superoxide dismutase mimetic - its activity is dervived from conjugated nitroxides.
