Specializing in advanced sensor and processing technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Unmanned Systems, and Self-Protection applications, Defense Engineering Corporation (DEC) provides engineering and product development services to customers and collaborators in the Department of Defense and industry. With the principal having previously worked for a now major defense-focused firm in its early days doing high performance computing work and then as VP of Engineering in another firm heavily into Defense work, Defense Engineering was initially founded as a one-person operation subsocntracting to another firm doing sensor development. Now DEC is growing and winning multi-million dollar Defense contracts in the sensor space in its own right. This team of scientists, mathematicians and technicians now specialize in making better, fatser and cheaper sensors.
