Smart Sensor Systems has introduced a Bluetooth Wireless Smart Sensor Module for interfacing most transducers for use in remote monitoring. A second wireless transducer interface module model is to be introduced next quarter. These tranducer interface modules can integrate almost any sensor - from standard industrial sensors such as thermal, humidity, vibration, acceleration and strain to CBRN (chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear) sensors. These wireless smart sensor modules are compliant with the IEEE 1451 smart sensor open standard and can be easily integrated with other IEEE 1451 compliant devices. Data from 1451 systems is changed to real time critical intelligence for delivery to decision makers - whether human or computer.
