Public Profile

In May 2003 Resonance Research, Inc. and Superconducting Systems, Inc. - both active SBIR firms - joined forces to establish a new joint venture, called Stern Magnetics. The new company was created to address important technological challenges currently faced by users of magnetics related systems in the medical and research areas. Both RRI and SSI remain as independent companies and will continue supplying their complete lines of products and services. The joint venture manufactures cryogen-free animal MRI systems, dipole magnets and EPR tooth magnets; provides superconducting magnet design, manufacturing and forming services, heat treatment services, welding, brazing and soldering
