Collinge and Associates, Inc. is an independent research and consulting organization whose current and past projects have focusrd on integrating health-promoting behavior, complementary therapies, and educational programs. The latter have included the award-winning video program Touch, Caring and Cancer: Simple Instruction for Family and Friends, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute; and Mission Reconnect, for veterans and loved ones affected by deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan, sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health. Other studies have focused on fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, mind/body techniques, and complementary therapies in community mental health. The work is conducted in collaboration with like-minded organizations at the community and national levels. Teams of experts from academia and the private sector are assembled for each project based on their unique expertise.
