Serving the commercial, industrial, automotive, motorsport, military and civilian aerospace equipment, alternative energy, and electricity storage markets, the firm offered hybrid hardware, motor controls, military ground vehicle propulsion components, OEM automotive power electronics, propulsion hardware, consulting services in vehicle controls and energy management, vehicle integration support for vehicle developers, custom product development, power circuit design, thermal management design, and power hybrid and multi-chip module packaging. In 2019, BorgWarner acquired two Oregon-based businesses in early 2019. Specifically, BorgWarner formed Cascadia Motion LLC to buy assets and merge the operations of the companies â Rinehart Motion Systems LLC and AM Racing Inc. with Cascadia Motion retaining an entrepreneurial culture to explore the wide variety of electric and hybrid propulsion solutions for niche and emerging applications.
