In July 2008, TK Engineering Associates Inc was acquired by CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI). TK Engineering was established as a consulting, design and project engineering firm by then recently retired GE Aircraft Engines exceutives. Over time, the business has grown to include engineering work for more than twenty additional companies worldwide. The "TK" advantage is senior engineers with extensive experience in jet engine design specialties enabling the firm to offer aerospace industry consulting and due-diligence investigation in addition to stellar design capabilities and product support service. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a satellite office in Boston, TK employs full-time engineers and draftsman who focus on preliminary design, mechanical systems, mechanical design, product definition, stress and heat transfer, performance analysis and controls design.
