Software Company hires twenty three part time employees, opens nine full time positions, and plans to open business incubator

Pi FactoryGallipolis, OH- Today, BTS Software Solutions, a high-tech company, announces a significant increase of its footprint in Gallipolis, OH. Earlier this May, the company hired twenty-three part time employees to report to their 2nd Avenue office in the Digital River area of Gallipolis. To respond the company's rapid growth, BTS Software Solutions, has decided to make the "Digital River" the beachhead for its new "Growth Business Unit". The Growth Business Unit is charged with substantially increasing the company's activities in the Midwest, specifically focused in Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) zones. As a result, BTS is actively recruiting Software Engineers and Bid and Proposal Specialists. The company currently has nine full time positions available.

BTS Software Solutions is committed to the growth, expansion, and long-term presence of their company in Gallipolis, OH. By June 1st, BTS is relocating a top executive to Gallipolis, OH from Baltimore, MD to lead the operation.

"We have put together a "Tiger Team" that will be focused on expanding our footprint in Gallipolis and the Midwest," said BTS Executive Vice President Brian Ratliff. "We currently have several other initiatives on the horizon from a business and community development perspective in planning and will be announcing them as those plans start to solidify."

In addition to their core work of developing custom software programs for customers in the public and private sectors, BTS Software Solutions also plans to embrace and support the Gallipolis community by organizing and sponsoring local events in the Gallipolis Park.

Part of the company's strategy for growth includes the opening of the Pi Factory. The Pi Factory, coming this summer to 2nd Ave, will be a business incubator designed to promote technology entrepreneurship in the Digital River area. BTS Software Solutions will match great ideas with local entrepreneurs and provide free software engineering support and mentorship to approved business plans. The Pi Factory will offer an opportunity for high-tech and business-minded professionals to spread their wings and learn what it takes to go from idea to execution.

"The Pi Factory will be a dojo for rising stars in our area to get the hands on experience necessary to propel the Digital River's tech entrepreneurship ecosystem," said Ratfliff.

While an official opening date has not been released, more information on the Pi Factory will become available throughout the summer.

The first company sponsored event, an Armed Forces Day Community Picnic, will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the city park. BTS Software Solutions will provide free grilled food, snacks, beverages, and games to attendees. Entertainment will be provided by local radio station WBYG 99.5. The company is also hosting free Zumba exercise classes in the park every Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. The first Zumba class will be held on Saturday, June 1st.
