Geocent, L.L.C., a Metairie, Louisiana-based technology and engineering services company, announced today that it was awarded one of seven Small Business prime contracts from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to provide software development, engineering and technical services to support Core Infrastructure and Application Service Integration (CASI) requirements. CASI is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, task-order contract with a total ceiling of $249.6 Million over 3 years if all options are exercised. It represents Geocent's first large prime contract award from SPAWAR.
To better support our SPAWAR clients in Charleston and in anticipation of this contract, Geocent hired a local Executive Director, Ryan Lemire and opened an 8,000 sq/ft office in Lowcountry Innovation Center last year. Ryan Lemire said, "I am excited at the opportunity this represents for our employees, their tremendous efforts in execution have paid off with the winning of our first prime contract! I look forward towards our continued partnership with SPAWAR to deliver capability for our Warfighters."
