Public Profile

In August 2010, Sicel Technologies Inc filed for chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcy, and shortly thereafter suspended operations. With a substantial patent portfolio, Sicel Technologies, Inc. had been focused on the development of systems using tiny implantable sensors designed to provide clinicians with ongoing data about tumor cells and the impact or timing of treatment. The intent had been that Sicel's sensor technologies would be used to provide feedback about biological and physiological changes in cell and organ systems. The company's technology solutions provided information about tumor cells to impact the treatment or the timing of treatment to target the tumors. Products included OneDose -- a patient dosimetry verification system used for radiation oncology therapy, as well as provided wireless implantable sensors. AT its height, the company sold its products tworldwide through distributors
