Chronix Biomedical Inc. said Wednesday it has opened a sequencing laboratory in Brookings, South Dakota.
The San Jose-based company provides new approaches to diagnosing, monitoring and managing a range of cancers and other conditions.
It offers sequencing testing services to medical professionals and organizations conducting clinical trials. It is expanding its services to benefit the research community studying cancers as well as rare and orphan diseases, classified as neurologic or autoimmune disorders.
The laboratory received assistance from the First Bank & Trust of Brookings, South Dakota (FB&T) and the Area Development Corporation of Brookings, South Dakota.
